Good News at 18 months!

This past Wednesday Bree had her "3 month scan" and check-up. Yesterday our nurse called and told us that everything looks great. There was no sign of any new growth. She also had blood work done as well as a few different tests on her urine to look for "tumor markers." There was good news on this as well. No cancer cells found. If anything were growing that couldn't be seen on her MRI, it would show up in her blood work and urine tests. So, GOOD NEWS! We are so incredibly grateful.

Miss Breezy has grown into such a sweet lady over the past few months. She really is a ray of sunshine. As for her 18 month stats, she's 30 inches tall, and 19 lbs 6 oz. She adores necklaces, bracelets and of course, shoes. Today I had to buy some soccer cleats for my boys and she walked over to the wall of shoes and picked out some bright red shoes and started to try them on. She has a few words "Momma, Dadda, shoes, all done & dogga (doggie)." She adores her brothers, she walks around the house like she owns everything and everyone. She babbles in her own language. She loves any and all baby dolls. She's beginning to be clingy to Mommy but adores her Dad. She's shy yet fiesty. She loves books and her blanket. She squeals with delight when its bath time and tries to run as fast as her legs will take her up the stairs. She loves to read books and she loves to cuddle.

As I was driving her home from her tests on Wednesday I couldn't help but tear up. This little girl has been through so much at her young age. I'm so thankful for this strong little girl. I'm completely wrapped up in her. I'm excited to watch her grow, I'm ecstatic that she'll have a normal life, free from cancer. I know everything won't be roses all the time but at this moment in her young life, I'm thankful she gets the chance.

Sweetness

I just read Krista's (Justin's sister) blog about a sweet prayer my neice Anna said. You can check it out here. It will put a smile on your face. :)

Speaking of sweetness, my Father in law's procedure went well yesterday and he is resting at home now. Thank you for your extra thoughts and prayers in his behalf. We are hoping for a speedy recovery.
