XY

So life's been crazy as usual and I haven't had the time to blog. :( Sad for me. I love blog hopping, blog stalking, blog-writing. But, I did want to announce the gender of our last little cookie.

It's a BOY!

We are excited for another little guy around our house. I'm also happy to keep Breezy our little princess. You know I'm going to spoil that girl rotten! She deserves it!

I have not scanned his ultrasound pictures yet, but do plan on doing that when I get a chance to catch up on my paper-work/stuff. (If that will ever happen!)

So far, I am half-way done with this pregnancy. It's going by fast but I feel rather large and have a feeling this boy will be a big one. Gunner was my heaviest, weighing a whopping 9 lbs, 3 oz, so knowing that bit of history makes me a little nervous. Alas, I am excited for this stage in pregnancy. It's my favorite part when I feel the little one dance inside my belly. This week was the first time I felt him move outside. The kids each got to feel him and they all loved it!

More to come later...

My baby's in preschool

Our little girl started preschool about 2 weeks ago and she is loving every minute! She's a bit young to start but my dear friend that I've had since I was 15 is the teacher and she does such a fabulous job with her!

Breezy goes with her cousin and has such a great time. She really enjoys learning, has lots of fun playing with the baby dolls at school, playing with friends and being "big" just like her brothers. She asks for her "backkack" (backpack) and "wader ball" (water bottle) every time she goes. What a cutie!

Her first day:

Yesterday I was going through a bunch of papers for our taxes and happened to stumble upon the receipt from the ER hospital the night that Bree was diagnosed with cancer. A wave of emotions came over me as I remembered that awful night.

A moment later I was overcome with a feeling of complete peace that she is okay now. I know this may sound silly, but there really isn't a day that goes by that I don't look at her with complete thankfulness that we have her, that her body is completely healed and that we get to enjoy her everyday. We love our little Breezy.

I'm thankful for those moments that I can remember what we went through with her and be reminded how special she is on a daily basis. Cherish the everyday!

A look at baby #4

This is our little peanut at 14 weeks. I'm a little over 18 weeks now (Yes, it did take me that long to figure out my scanner...and now if I could figure out how to turn the picture landscape! One thing at a time I guess!)

We have another ultrasound on Thursday to find out what we're having. Any guesses???

Bree's first haircut

The time has come my friends. I tried to hold off on cutting Breezy's hair but it was starting to get a little too crazy even for her. :)
I took her to a fun place where she got to watch a movie and sit in a fun car chair. Plus, her big brothers got haircuts before her so of course she wanted to join the fun.

She got treated like royalty with a blowdry and style. They even gave her a little bow and saved her hair in a keepsake frame. She kept telling me "I pincess (princess) Momma!" She is my little princess!

I know it's not anything drastic (I think she really only had like 1/2 inch cut off) but her hair looks a lot better, feels healthier & hopefully it'll help it lay down a bit too! Although I do love her "electric" hair when it sticks straight out!

First Day of School

The boys started school on July 27th and were SOOOO excited to go! Gunner started Kindergarden and Caleb is already in 2nd grade. I'm still in shock that they are this old!

They obviously love taking pictures! Bree wanted to "get ready" too and get her hair done to see the boys off!

Caleb loved reuniting with his friends and teachers from school. What a lover boy.

I was able to go to lunch with the boys and make sure they were able to open everything and well, ya know, "hover" over them at least one more time. :) Gunner kept telling me "Mom, I got it!" Caleb wasn't in the mood for pictures & kept pushing the camera away. Maybe another day!

While the boys were away gaining new knowledge at school, Bree & I got busy painting pictures. I have to admit, it is really fun to just be "the girls" while the boys are gone. I'm smitten with this girl.

Gunner got home from school & was thrilled with how much fun he had. I expected him to be exhausted beyond belief but he was still charged and ready to go. Oh what I would give to have some of that energy! When I told him he gets to go to school again the next day, his response was "I get to go again?!" He loves school, loves his teacher and is so excited to make new friends!

Since Caleb wasn't in the mood for pictures, here's a cute picture of him from the summer:
