My little man Gunner

It seems I've only blogged a few times about my little Gunner boy so I wanted to take a moment to brag on him. He really is the sweetest boy that has a kind heart and I adore him so!

He's been my little buddy since Caleb started Kindergarten. He is so fun to be with all day. He loves to help me around the house and we always have to stop at least once a day to play legos, farm or trucks.

Even though he's only 2, he acts much older sometimes. But then reality hits me when he has his cute tantrums and fits. I call them cute because sometimes I can't help but smile at him as he kicks the walls and flops on the floor for attention. :)

Here's a few things I love about him:
- When he wakes up in the morning (or the middle of the night) he always greets me with "hi mom, I wake up! You sleep good?"
- When we go down the stairs we have to jump at each landing. His cue is "C'mon Mom, Jump!"
- He's constantly singing his ABC's. He loves to say them and watch me do the signs. He even tries to do the signs too. It's too cute!
- He'll go up to a perfect stranger and give them a hug, just because that's what his big brother would do. That melts my heart.
- He wants me or Justin to "eat him." It's a fun tickle game we like to play. But he always giggles with delight. So fun!

Here's to my Gunner boy. I love you buddy!

Happy 5th Birthday Caleb!!

Saturday was Caleb's 5th birthday. He had a blast on his special day. We rented a huge water slide and had lots of his friends and cousins come to join the fun. We were a little fearful that the party might not be very successful because we planned all these water activities and then a huge monsoon came rolling through early that morning! Luckily, the rain stopped right before the party and we were still able to still go through with what we planned. The weather turned out to be great and everyone had a great time! I can't believe my baby is already 5! Happy Birthday Caleb! We love you buddy!

Our little blob!

Here's some pictures of our latest ultrasound! Yesterday was my first appointment with Dr. Beck. We heard the heartbeat and got to watch our newest little one wriggle around! My doc also said that I am measuring a little bigger so he moved my due date up to March 15, 2008! We are so excited!

Our Latest News!

In the first video, I was holding Gunner and trying to film. That's why its a little shaky. He also was caught off guard by the screams and started crying. Poor kid doesn't know what's gonna hit him when baby #3 gets here! :) We told my family that I needed to take a picture of all of them for a scrapbook. So everybody posed for the picture and instead of everybody saying "cheese" I told them to say "Kari's pregnant." They kept waiting for the picture to take because they didn't know I was filming their reaction with my camera. It was funny.

We told Justin's family by making a photobook with all their grandkids. The very last page had a picture of a cartoon baby in pink and blue and said, "Introducing your 14th Grandchild. Coming March 18, 2008. Congratulations Grandma!"

We were tickled by everyone's reactions. I'm so hormonal already. I cry every time I watch the video of their reactions. :)

What can I say, I love to catch up on everyone's lives!

Back to normalcy...

Okay, I must say, I fell off the face of the earth when Book 7 came out. I did finish it last week and have been trying to catch up on daily life ever since! My poor hubby and children suffered by having to eat take out or watch endless movies just so I could finish! My laundry and dishes were piled so high...it hasn't been that bad since book 6!
I loved the book. It was so awesome. What a conclusion to this series! If anyone wants to compare notes, email me at scrapbookingmama@cox.net and we'll discuss! I don't want to spoil it for anyone that hasn't finished yet.
Something to look forward into the future... some friends of mine told me they are developing a "Harry Potter" theme park in Florida. I don't know more details than that, but I am already excited to go! Pumpkin Juice and Butterbeer, here I come!
