Yellow Tomatoes??

Last March I decided I wanted to plant ONE tomato plant, just to see if I had any kind of green thumb...turns out, I LOVE gardening! Well, right now I only have the one tomato plant but I also planted a ton of flowers and a few shrubs. I love going outside to see if I have any new bulbs that will later turn into little yellow tomatoes.

My tomato plant is called a "yellow pear" and produces the small cherry tomato-like fruit. They turn this bright yellow color when they are ripe. They also taste so yummy! My boys like to eat them right off the vine!

Although the triple digit weather here has curbed my enthusiasm for gardening at the moment, I still like to go outside and get satisfaction in seeing my plants grow so tall. My favorite outdoor flowers at the moment are Petunia's and Vinca's. They grow really well right now and can last through the heat. Well, we'll see how they do through the summer.

Time Out

Alright, before you look at these pictures and pass judgement that I am a bad mother, I have to tell you that I do love and adore my kids. Although, there are times when they can be very mischievious and get into trouble. So, we've started doing "time out" and it first started in a little chair but wasn't working at all. So, one day, I came home and Justin had put Gunner in the corner for time out. I immediately started laughing because it was so funny, yet so sad...but it did work. In his cute little 2 year old mind, he understood that he had done something wrong because he didnt want to go back to the corner! Good times!

My Man

Here's a few pictures of the man I love! He keeps things
entertaining and always makes me & the boys laugh. From running around like a wild man in a oversized tire, to making silly faces,
this is my companion for time & all eternity! There are countless things I could say about him. He is wonderful. He works hard for our family, is a GREAT provider, loves to be with his kids and treats me like a queen. Oh how I love him! Thanks for all you do for us Justin. I love you!
P.S. He does look mighty fine in his suit huh?!

"All Done Pool"

Well, we survived swimming lessons! Last Wednesday was our last day. Gunner cried at every lesson and said "all done pool" until the very last one. Of course, wouldn't you know, that he decided he actually liked it! In fact, he told me, as we were getting in the truck to go, he said "simmin' poo...fun, Momma!" Translation: The swimming pool is fun mom! It just took him 4 weeks to figure that out! Go figure! Our teacher, Millie, did a wonderful job with my boys. Even Caleb learned to do the monkey walk along the side and kick his legs. I loved watching them learn. It was great fun for me! Hard to watch at times, as my children were crying and reaching out for me, but glad to say it's now done! We still have a ways to go until they can actually swim but at least we've scratched the surface right?

After they were all done, the kids got to ride around on the 747 plane...their favorite part! They gave the kids t-shirts, a lollipop and a little medal. The boys were so proud of themselves. Way to go graduates!

Playing with Cousins!

We were privledged to have a fun play day with the Brown's. Koby, Billy, Cameron and Anna Brown came to visit for a day and we had lots of fun playing in the sprinklers, jumping in the pool and swinging. We are so glad they are back to AZ and that we'll be able to see more of them! Congrats also to Dr. Ryan Brown on opening up his new dental office in Prescott Valley. Welcome home!

Ice Cream

Gunner wanted some ice cream so I gave him some in a cone and he absolutely loved every bite! He had so much fun with it, I had to snap a few pictures to share. Usually, he doesnt like to get too messy, often times, he'll tell me, "I messy" and "nakin (napkin) please." But this time, he was so hot and hungry that he didnt seem to mind the dribbles of chocolate and cream everywhere!

Smelly Cat

Hi there! Okay, so the story behind my nickname of "Smelly Cat" is basically that in high school, Chelsey & I watched the show "Friends" at her house a lot. Correct me if I'm wrong Chels, but I think we just started singing the song "Smelly Cat, Smelly Cat, What are they feeding you?" And her Dad, started calling me "Smelly Cat" ever since. I wish the story was more entertaining, but hey, that's what ya get for asking. ha ha!
Here's the video of my infamous song! (I haven't learned how to upload a video clip yet). Enjoy!

Family Fun Expo

On June 2nd, we took the kids to the Family Fun Expo in Glendale. It was a lot of fun. The boys loved all the hands-on exhibits, and special performances. They had a great time with petting zoo and reptiles. As for me, I'll stay FAR FAR away from the snakes and aligators!

Memorial Day Weekend

We were able to go to the cabin for Memorial Day and we had a great time! All the cousins got to be together and had lots of fun. They loved swinging in the hammock, playing outside in the beautiful weather and taking rides on the quad.
