Remember when?

I saw this on my sis-in-laws blog so I thought I'd give it a go. Seems like some good clean fun...hopefully!

Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together, or one of the first memories you have of me. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Now, play nice ya'll!

Okay, how about within 1 minute of meeting, you and I openly shared our UNDYING love for Edward! This is where our friendship began...does Stephenie Meyers even know that she brings people together with her books!:P

I have lots of memories (mostly of lingering Sunday meetings ;)) but I remember playing the insurance game together when we both wanted to get pregnant. And I have to mention that I always thought it was cute that there is some kind of new decor everytime I go into your house....I didn't know you were into Twilight! I'm about to finish New Moon :)

That is too hilarious that we posted this at the same time! I saw it on my sis in law's blog and thought it was a good idea.

One of my memories of you is going to that late night scrapbook party. That was a lot of fun. I remember talking about how both of our babies (Caleb and Tabby) had the same heart condition and how we were nervous about getting it fixed. It's so wonderful to see Caleb so healthy and doing great!

First of all, I love the picture of you. And I love that the picture was taken at my house!! Gunner is an awesome photographer!!

Ok....so my first memory is meeting you in the hallway before Sunday School and being asked to take you to our class...I was totally intimidated by you. :) I still feel lucky that we ended up friends!

I have too many other memories to count. The first that comes to mind involves the Spice Girls...need I say more? :)

Kari,

I saw your blog as a link from Rachel Blakes, so I thought I'd check it out. As far as memories... this will take you way back. I think it was elementary school. We made a movie about Cleopatra and Marc Antony and you played Cleopatra. We did it out in someone's backyard by a pool. Was that your house? I can't even remember who else did that with us, but I remember thinking it turned out pretty good. (Boy if we could see it now!) Hope your family is doing well--it looks like they are!

I remember that you made a huge deal out of my 16th bday. I was working at Kino pool and you had 16 guys bring me a rose (and some gave me a kiss on the cheek) throughout the evening. It is one of my favorite bday memories and you were such a good friend to plan it for me! You've always been a fantastic friend!

I, of course, remember flying across the ocean with you to begin our wild adventures in Hawaii. The sweaty dorm in Hale 3, the nightmare house in Hauula, our roach infested station wagon and of course the uncomfortable living conditions of our semi-finished studio on Laie Pointe. Seriously, why did we think an outdoor kitchen was a decent idea?

My first memory when Justin brought you to meet our family, was WOW SHE IS GORGEOUS! And you are still that gorgeous woman! I always tell Joe you remind me of a Super Model (and right now with nursing Bree, you could pass for a Victorious Secret model!) :-) I love you Kari!

This sounds like so much fun! I remember moving into the ward and seeing that there were Cooks in the ward. Moving from a ward with Tyson and Angie Cook in it, I knew that you had to be fun people and I had to meet you! Luckily you introduced yourself not too long after I moved in and I have really enjoyed knowing you!!!! Now we just need to hang out sometime, maybe we can get together and watch the boys cheer on the Suns!!!

First of all,..cute picture!!! Ok, my first memory of you is from a little over a year ago, when me, Derek, you and Justin went out to dinner. I forgot where we went, but it was Mexican. I just remember you asking about my conversion story.....then we went to my house and played games. That was the first time we ever hung out!

My first memory of you is not really a memory but a feeling. I just remember feeling like you where one of the nicest most genuine people I have ever met! You have this way about you that makes everyone feel comforatable!

Ok here is my first time I met you. I think I was going to watch the guys play basketball, most of the guys had brought a girl to watch (typical). and I thought you were so nice to me, just so easy to talk to and of course I thought you were and still think you are so pretty (a model). Thanks Kari for being such a great person and friend.
